"Al Shaqab will be the main partner," racing manager Brad Weisbord said. "He was the best horse for our team today. He is the one we wanted to walk away with.”
The Curlin colt, who flew threw his breeze in :09 4/5 seconds at the Under Tack Show, was consigned as hip No. 293 and sold to trainer Mark Casse. The colt’s dam Stars Indy Skies is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Advancing Star.
The sale concludes tomorrow, with Eisaman’s consignment scheduled to have three horses go through the ring, including an Exchange Rate colt, hip No. 557, that breezed a rapid 10 seconds flat during the Under Tack Show.
